We work with you throughout the entire divorce or dissolution process and handle all matters relating to the dissolution of the marriage, civil union or domestic partnership and equitable property division, alimony, maintenance and support. We handle child custody and parental rights issues, including custody proceedings, visitation rights and all matters relating to child support.

We negotiate agreements, including property settlement, pre-nuptial or pre-civil union agreements. We represent clients whose family and financial issues are complex, as well as those who need counsel simply to ensure that their rights are protected and their problems settled properly. However, when necessary, we litigate contested divorce or dissolution cases involving financial issues or custody and visitation issues, and consult with and employ experts (when necessary) who are able to address financial, custody and other issues.

We strive to address the legal aspects of family law and matrimonial law disputes for opposite sex and same sex couples in a straightforward, rational manner, with the realization that clients likely are dealing with other highly emotional and financial non-legal issues. We approach such issues in a practical manner, and focus upon bringing matters to conclusion as quickly as possible .
